Scope and content

The series consists of 270 black and white photographs taken or acquired by members of the Ball family between 1912 and 1961. There are family photos, views of the Diamond B Ranch (the Ball family ranch), hunting groups and other family business activities. Most of the photographs were taken in the Telegraph Creek area where the family lived but there are also some taken in the Stikine, Prince Rupert, Britannia Beach, Dease Lake and Alaska.

The photographs are in no particular order but almost all have captions, date and place identifications written on the back by Georgiana Ball.

The 11 photographs in accession 198512-007 were given individual reference codes (HP096733-HP096742, HP096836) and are physically stored with the HP originals.
