The item is a documentary film on two reels. It shows centennial celebrations throughout 1971, including the visit by Queen Elizabeth.
Locations include: 100 Mile House, Barkerville, Burnaby, Empire Stadium, Long Beach, New Westminster, Pacific Rim National Park, BC Parliament Buildings, Prince George, Squamish, Vancouver International Airport, Victoria and California.

People include: Princess Anne, Premier W.A.C. Bennett, Minister of Indian Affairs Jean Chretien, Chief August Jack, Governor-General Roland Michener, Lieutenant-Governor J.R. Nicholson, Prince Philip, Chief James Sewid, Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau and Centennial Committee Chair L.J. Wallace.
