The item consists of an audio interview with Enid Molyneaux recorded in Victoria, B.C. on August 24, 1983.
Tape summary:
Track 1: Enid Molyneaux was born Enid McConnell in Victoria in 1914. She talks about her family coming to Canada and growing up on Linden Avenue. Describes the home she grew up in. Discusses the day-to-day tasks required to take care of the home, daily diet, shopping, etc. She attended Sir James Douglas, Victoria High, Victoria College, and Sprott-Shaw business school. She worked as a secretary in her father's stationary store for two years. In 1939 she married and set up her own home first in Duncan and then in Victoria. Compares her home to her mother's home.
