Custodial history
Parts of this series were received in 2007 from the home of a Borsos family member and in 2012 from the office of G. Chalmers Adams.
Scope and content
The series consists of research materials, screenplay drafts, film production documents, financial records, promotional materials, and moving image elements (film, video and audio) that document each of the five feature films directed by Borsos.
Borsos independently produced his first feature, "The Grey Fox" (1982) through his company Grey Fox Pictures Inc. His second feature, "The Mean Season" (1985), was a co-production of David Foster Productions and the Turman-Foster Company. His third feature, "One Magic Christmas" (1985), was produced under contract to Walt Disney Pictures. His fourth feature, "Bethune: the Making of a Hero" (1990), was an international co-production led by Filmline International (Canada). His last feature film, "Far From Home: the Adventures of Yellow Dog" (1995), was produced under contract to the Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation.
