Scope and content
Correspondence and financial papers of William Arthur Lorimer (1872-1929) and other members of the Lorimer family. The Lorimers were active in Scottish community organizations, including the Boy's Brigade, and in local athletic associations. W.A. Lorimer and his daughter Frances Jean Lorimer were also mainstays of the Victoria Native Sons and Daughters' Old Craigflower Schoolhouse Committee. Photocopied Minutes of the Committee, which was responsible for the preservation and maintenance of the school from 1926 to 1973, are included in this collection.
Presented by W.A. Lorimer's granddaughters: Mrs. Joan Moses of Seattle, Washington; Mrs. Lynne Bush, Lac La Hache B.C.; and Mrs. Leila Drope, Delta, B.C., 1985.
