Biographical history

Alexander Munro (1824-1911) was born in Scotland and was employed by the Hudson's Bay Company in its Western District between 1861 and 1890 when he retired. He served as a Chief Factor between 1874 and 1890, and died in Victoria on 27 February 1911.
