Copies of selected audio recordings from a collection co-owned by broadcaster/collector Jack Cullen and radio station CKNW. This material -- comprising 115 instantaneous discs made by BC radio stations, recording studios and home recorders -- was loaned for copying in August 1985. The discs were copied to tape for the BC Archives by Alan Erdman, a record collector and former radio technician, who also provided detailed descriptions of the disc contents.

SUMMARY: Dick Diespecker reports on the arrival [at Kitsilano Park?] of retired CPR Engine 374, the historic steam locomotive that had pulled the first transcontinental train into Vancouver on May 23, 1887. (C;KWX aircheck of a CJOR broadcast.);
