Biographical history
The British Columbia government established a Supreme Court registry at Barkerville, in the Cariboo Judicial District, effective September 1, 1939. It was approved and ordered by Order-in-Council #0831-1939, dated 1939 June 21.

Series consists of three Barkerville Supreme Court civil case files from 1939 to 1941: L.W. King vs. Buckley's Pharmacy (K/3/39), Workmen's Compensation Board vs. Consolidated Gold Alluvials of B.C. (W/l/41), and one adoption file.
