Volumes from accessions G84-190 and G84-221 were initially selected and described as GR-1900. In 2000, additional volumes were added and all of the selected records were reaccessioned as 93-8568. Volume 7 of G84-190 was found in 2017 in container 880057-2723.
Scope and content
The series consists of 11 volumes of bills of sale indexes and registers created by the Victoria Supreme Court between 1861 and 1956. The registers list bills of sale for chattel mortgages and conditional sales. Index volumes are arranged by name. Most volumes relate to bills of sale in Victoria but volume 11 is an index to bills of sale on the mainland.
