Train trip (by CPR to Qualicum from Parksville?); scenery; a fair with races, games, eating, etc. Royal visit: Victoria (Douglas and Yates); Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip [?]; good shots of street and buildings; the Empress Hotel in full decoration. 1958 May Day, dancers, parade.
