Centennial Committee special project "Fraser Brigade," a re-enactment of Simon Fraser's 1808 journey by canoe down the Fraser River from Fort George. Also shows related celebrations at stops along the route -- Prince George, Quesnel, Soda Creek, Lillooet, Lytton, Yale, Hope, Mission and New Westminster. Includes an Indian horse race at Lytton, a kayak race on the Fraser, and a mountain-climbing demonstration at Hell's Gate. Expedition leader Dick Corless is interviewed.
