History
The British Columbia government established a Supreme Court registry at Chilliwack (in the County of Westminster) in 1916, by Order-in-Council 0408-1916. The order, which also provided for a District Registrar, was approved by cabinet on May 5; notice was given by the Provincial Secretary’s office on May 10, 1916.
At this date (June 2022) the Chilliwack Registry of the Supreme Court continues as an active registry.
