B Government Name
The British Columbia government established a Supreme Court registry at Pouce Coupe, in the Cariboo judicial district, effective September 1, 1920. It was approved and ordered by Order-in-Council #1560-1920, dated August 27, 1920.
By Order-in-Council # 3370-1974, approved and ordered 1974-Oct-17, the Supreme Court registry at Pouce Coupe was disestablished. By the same order, the Registry of the County Court for the County of Cariboo at Pouce Coupe was also disestablished. Also by the same order, a registry of the Supreme Court and County Court was established at Dawson Creek.
