History
In 1909 the British Columbia government established a Supreme Court registry at Prince Rupert, in the County of Atlin, effective May 15, 1909. It was approved and ordered by Order-in-Council 0251-1909, dated 1909 March 30. [Source: OIC and p. 1278 BC Gazette 1909, p. 1278].
Currently (to March 31, 2016) the Prince Rupert Registry of the Supreme Court continues as an active registry.
