Flew gliders in the 1930s. Was a partner in Columbia Aviation Ltd., 1933-36. Went to work for Boeing Aircraft of Canada, 1936-44. Transferred to Boeing Ai;rcraft Company in Seattle in 1945 and remained with them until he retired at age 70. TRACK 1: Talks about his early involvement with aviation through gliding and Columbia Aviation Ltd. TRACK 2: Furth;er discussion of the Boeing primary glider. Discussion of the rise and fall of Columbia Aviation Ltd. Discussion of flying activities at Vancouver Airport during the 1930s.;
