SUMMARY: A radio play by Vera Rosenbluth, based on events that took place in Vancouver in 1914, before before the First World War. The characters depicted in the play include Mayor Baxter, Conservative MP H.H. Stevens, lawyer J. Edward Bird, Dominion Immigration Inspector Malcolm R.J. Reid, and Amanat Ali Khan, who in 1914 was a sawmill worker living in Vancouver's East Indian community.
