SUMMARY: A documentary account of the first scheduled commericial flight from Vancouver to Amsterdam, flown by Canadian Pacific Airlines DC-6B -- a distance of 4,825 miles by the Arctic route, with a stop at Sondre-Stromfjord, Greenland. The program includes comments from the pilot. Captain Ralph A. Leslie; Don Donaldson of the New Zealand Broadcasting Service; Senator Grey Turgeon; Reg Sargent, CPA's supervisor of passenger services; former bush pilot Lee Britnell; First Officer Aubrey Weatherbee; Chief Navigator Ed Kendall; Dr. J.A. D'Ailly, burgomaster of Amsterdam; and Thomas Stone, Canadian Ambassador to Holland.;
