Biographical history
In 1923 the British Columbia government established a County Court registry at Kelowna (a registry of the County Court of Yale) effective May 1, 1923. It was approved and ordered by Order-in-Council 0408-1923, dated April 13, 1923.
By the same order, a Supreme Court registry was also established at Kelowna.
All County Courts were merged into the Supreme Court on July 1, 1990.

There is a blank "Form M" for transmitting Suitors' Fund Deposits to the Deputy Minister of Finance inside the front cover of the volume.
