The sub-series consists of oral history interviews about the history of, and modern life in, the Bella Coola, Central Coast and Central Coast Islands regions, from ca. 1890 to the 1960s. The interviews focus on the areas of Anahim Lake, the Bella Coola Valley, Kimsquit, Lonesome Lake, and Rivers Inlet.

TRACK 2: Wallace Stiles continues speaking about an incident involving Blondie Swanson, the telegraph trail, plans for a proposed pulp mill and sawmill, tourism, road use and road conditions.
