Mr. Wong and his brother built a new, bigger laundry business. Describes laundry business. Discusses what life was like for early Chinese in Vancouver. Few women in early Chinatown. Flu epidemic of 1918. TRACK 2: Discusses: medicines used by Chinese herbalists; the Depression -- hard times for many Chinese businesses; his opinion of urban renewal; Chinatown on Carrall St. in 1911; Chinese opera house.
