News item. In summer, the Canadian Coast Guard's search and rescue methods include the use of a high-powered pontoon boat which can tow a disabled vessel to shore in record time. In winter, the Coast Guard uses the pilot boat for these missions. Footage of the summer operations in Juan De Fuca Strait.
