Biographical history

Commissioner: Mr. Justice Aulay Morrison, of the Supreme Court. Appointed April 14, 1927; report dated June 2, 1927. Inquiry into charges made by Frank Carlow that public business had been improperly transacted, and that members of the legislature or government officials had improperly obtained campaign funds. No evidence was found to support the claim. The commission was related to the Commission on the Allegations of John A. Gauthier, 1927.

The commissioner, Supreme Court Justice Mr. Aulay Morrison, was appointed to investigate allegations made by liquor agent Frank Robert Carlow that public business had been improperly transacted by the government of British Columbia and that the government, its members and/or public officials had resorted to improper methods to obtain campaign funds. Unit consists of correspondence, transcripts of proceedings, exhibits, and report in which the commissioner stated that no evidence had been presented to support the allegations made by Carlow.
