Appointed May 19, 1917; report [1917]. Commissioners: David Whiteside, F. A. Pauline, and C. F. Nelson, Members of the Legislative Assembly. The commissioners were appointed by the provisions of the Prohibition Overseas Vote Investigation Act " (1917, chapter 50), to inquire into charges that frauds and irregularities had occurred in taking the votes of the soldiers overseas on the referendum regarding prohibition. The commissioners proceeded overseas to take evidence in the course of their investigation.

The series consists of the records of the Commission on the Overseas Vote in Connection With the British Columbia Prohibition Act, 1917. Commission records include transcripts of proceedings for the eleven days of hearings in London during June and July 1917.
