Appointed January 22, 1914; report dated February 16, 1914. Commissioner: Herbert W. R. Moore, barrister, of Victoria. Investigated the argument for secession from the municipality of Point Grey, including all matters connected with the proposed severance of Shaughnessy Heights from the municipality of Point Grey and the incorporation of Shaughnessy Heights as a separate municipality. The commissioner was to investigate proposed boundaries, the readjustment of assets and liabilities and any other matter relevant to the Act to incorporate Shaughnessy Municipality which had been put before the Legislative Assembly. Ultimately, the commissioner recommended that the proposed legislation be dropped.
