File contains 9 letters written by W.E. Traill and address to either R.H. Hall or Thomas R. Smith at the Hudson's Bay Company in Victoria. The letters provide updates on the fort and associated posts, including Stuarts Lake, Fort George, Connolly, Fraser Lake, Stony Creek, McLeod's Lake, and Bear's Lake. The letters also provide updates on employees and associates, including A.C. Murray, Angus McIntosh, M.P. Collins, E.S. Peters, R.J. Alexander, McDonald, William Sinclair, and Charles Ogden.
