MS includes account of Burkitt's tenure as director of Saltspring and Gulf Islands Agricultural Association (1921-ca. 1938) and work with Canadian Corps of Commissionaires in Victoria (ca. 1960-1977). Also, reminiscences of author's military service (1914-1918) first as member of 67th Battalion (Western Scots) and later as pilot in the Royal Flying Corps.
