In 1975 the branch was brought under the Dept. of Recreation and Travel Industry.

Custodial history

Scope and content

Series consists of photographs acquired by the Film and Photographic Branch of the Dept. of Travel Industry sometime in the 1960's. The photographs in this series were taken from the reference files of Yukon Archives. Contact prints and negatives were made from these prints by the branch. The contact prints made from the new negatives were glued into story boards with captions and other information. These photographs originally formed part of accession G-86-117. They were removed from the accession by BC Archives staff and reaccessioned by the Visual Records Unit as 198702-017.
