Owen Goward fonds

  • PR-2417
  • Fonds
  • 1894 - 1969

Fonds consists mainly of maps, correspondence, and financial records related to Owen Goward's work as a forestry Engineer in Oregon and British Columbia from the 1930s to the late 1960s. Also included are a small selection of watercolour paintings done by Owen Goward and many records related to his personal life.

There was little original order. Maps accessioned by the maps division were described at the item level as were the paintings. With the remaining records, where possible, records in labelled file folders and envelopes were kept together. Loose records were roughly grouped together according to perceived function. In some cases, records were grouped based on the company Owen Goward had worked with.

Records have been arranged into five series according to record type or to function.
