Custodial history unknown. Presumed to have been acquired from the Greater Vancouver Regional District around 1970 and kept in the old map room. Found in the Archives stacks in 2019.
Scope and content
The file consists of 11 colour printed maps published or collected by the Planning Department of the Greater Vancouver Regional District between 1959 and 1970.
The maps have a variety of industrial and development purposes including proposed rail routes to Roberts Bank, traffic volume and times, population density, commercial floor space and existing development in the Greater Vancouver area.

The maps were stored in a binder for many years and have punch holes.
