Hugh Wesley Dobson was Western Field Secretary for the Evangelism and Social Service Branch of the Methodist Church of Canada in Regina from 1912 to 1926 and Secretary, Board of Evangelism and Social Service in Vancouver for the United Church of Canada from 1926 to 1951.

Fonds includes records created by Dobson as Western Field Secretary for the Evangelism and Social Service Branch of the Methodist Church of Canada (1912-1926) and those he created while serving as Secretary, Board of Evangelism and Social Service, United Church of Canada (1926-1951).
