Incorporated on December 7th, 1928 as a British Columbia company, the company was primarily owned by Hammond Cedar Company and Elco Logging Company Limited, with the former possessing controlling shares by the mid-1940s. Industrial Timber Mills was purchased by British Columbia Forest Products in 1946, along with Hammond Cedar, and fully dissolved on September 3rd, 1952.
