Afterwards during the last rows into Barracks. The house where all the men are in front is the weighing stand during the races.

[Canton, China ] 2) The North East Gate from the ruined houses inside the walls - some little distance from this to the south the attack by the Marines took place, a rush was made along the walls to this gate, it was ours then, vacated by the Chinese, the gates were immediately opened and through them the Artillery entered the houses at that time came close up to the Gate. They have been levelled for the sake of defence.
