Steel Cases for Vancouver Court House, Vancouver B.C.

The item is a office catalogue containing 16 pages of steel case furniture blueprint drawings intended for the Vancouver Court House. Each sheet is stamped "From the Modern Office Supply Co." located at 163 Pender St. West, Vancouver. The individual pages show technical drawings of vaults, tables, desks, cabinets and rolling carts.

Vancouver Harbour tidal current atlas

Item consists of one bound album measuring 57 x 29.5 cm. It contains one location map and 12 charts of Vancouver Harbour that depict mean current velocities and patterns for each hour of the tidal cycle. This January 2, 1981 edition is an update to the 1973 atlas and is based on data obtained from surveys conducted in 1972 and 1980 by the Tides, Currents and Water Levels Section of the Canadian Hydrographic Service.

Item consists of one bound volume measuring 30 x 79 cm. It contains 11 blueprints of varying dimensions and one map of the Fraser River and Burrard Inlet, as surveyed by Captn G.H. Richards and the officers of H.M.S. Plumper in 1859-1860. Each plan/map is numbered using white, paper labels adhered in the top right corner. Pages have been bound with the front cover at the back. Handwritten inscriptions repeat an abridged version of the title on the back cover. "Martin -J" is also written on front cover.

Item consists of one bound atlas measuring 45 x 38 cm. It contains 63 electoral district maps arranged from east to west for the cities of Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, London, Hamilton, Windsor, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, and Victoria. Maps vary in scale and include the districts' population as of the 1931 census. Each map includes an electoral district definition as defined in the Representation Act of 1933. Depending on their scale, maps depict railway lines, bodies of water, ferry routes, street names, and/or house numbers. The table of contents and many of the maps are annotated in graphite, red, or blue pencil. Maps 52 and 53 for Edmonton east and west (respectively) are missing.

It contains 69 electoral district maps arranged from east to west for the cities of Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, London, Hamilton, Windsor, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Victoria-Nanaimo, and St. John's. Maps vary in scale and include the districts' population as of the 1941 census. Each map includes an electoral district definition as defined in the Representation Act of 1947. Depending on their scale, maps depict railway lines, bodies of water, ferry routes, street names, and/or house numbers. Electoral district, and some municipal, boundaries are in red.

City of Vancouver sectional maps

Item consists of one bound album measuring 46 x 30.5 cm. It contains 89 sectional maps of the city of Vancouver in November 1977. A transparent overlay depicts district lot (D.L.) boundaries. An index map provides corresponding map numbers. Numbered maps depict railway lines, bodies of water, piers, parks, and some plan numbers for individually numbered lots. The index map indicates that maps 1-3, 68, and 91 were not available at time of issue but map 68 is included. A library borrowing card is inserted into a pocket stamped with "Resource Information Centre, Heritage Conservation Branch" and adhered to the back of the cover page.
