A Canticle for Leibowitz

The sub-series consists of research materials, screenplay drafts, correspondence and contracts created as part of the pre-production on a feature film based on the novel "A Canticle for Leibowitz" by Walter M. Miller, Jr. Among the screenplay writers were Dennis Lynton Clark and Stephen DeGange. A stage play adaptation by Richard Felnagle of the novel was also considered as a source for a screenplay.

Band of Brothers

The sub-series consists of screenplay drafts and other material created as part of the pre-production for a feature film, to be based on a screenplay by Dennis Lynton Clark.

Billy Buckles, Cockroach Killer

The sub-series consists of research materials, screenplay drafts, correspondence and contracts created as part of the pre-production on a feature film based on an original story by Beret Paulsen (Beret Borsos). The film was to be produced by Borsos' firm, the Radio Telegraphic Company. Among the screenplay writers were Beret Paulsen, James Makichuk, Jerry L. Jackson, Michael Britton, and Sus Falk Hansen.

Cooperage

The sub-series consists of moving image material related to Borsos' 1975 documentary "Cooperage", produced by Rocky Mountain Films.

Dustship

The sub-series consists of research materials, screenplay drafts and oral history interviews created as part of the pre-production for a feature film based on Andreas Schroeder's novel "Dustship Glory" (1986). The story deals with Tom Sukanen and the ship "Dontianen" that he built in Saskatchewan in the 1930s, miles away from the nearest navigable body of water.

The sub-series consists of various compilations of Borsos' early films.

The sub-series consists of material relating to the production and promotion of Borsos' National Film Board of Canada "Nails" (1979).

Phase three : regeneration

The sub-series consists of moving image elements relating to the production of Borsos' documentary "Phase Three: Regeneration" for the BC Ministry of Forests.

Racquetball

The sub-series consists of material relating to the production and promotion of Borsos' documentary "Racquetball" (1979).

The sub-series consists of screenplay drafts by individual screenplay writers or studios and submitted to Phillip Borsos for review.

Spartree

The sub-series consists of moving picture elements, and textual and graphic material, relating to Borsos' 1977 documentary "Spartree".

The Captive

The sub-series consists of research materials, screenplay drafts, correspondence and contracts created as part of the pre-production for a feature film based on the two years of captivity between 1803-1805 spent by John Jewitt (1783-1821) with the Nuu'chah'nulth (Nootka Indians) on the west coast of Vancouver Island. The screenplay was written by Dennis Lynton Clark. Among the pre-production consultants were Barbara Cranmer and Hilary Stewart.

The Cider House Rules

The sub-series consists of screenplay drafts, correspondence and contracts created as part of the pre-production for a feature film based on the novel "The Cider House Rules" by John Irving, who also wrote the first drafts of the screenplay. The film was to be produced by Borsos' firm, the Radio Telegraphic Company.
