Item consists of one photograph of provincial government civil servants standing on the steps of the parliament buildings in 1878. Nineteen men are identified: (front row, left to right) F. Elwyn, A.S. Farwell, J.C. Provost, C.E. Pooley, A. McKenzie, J.J. Young, R. Butler, and H.B.W. Aikman; (centre row, left to right) H.S. Mason, E.G. Prior, J. Jessop, G. Williams, C. Swanson; and (back row, left to right) F.G. Richards, W.S. Gore, R. Wolfenden, W.C. Berkley, J.J. Austin, and H. Murray.

Provincial Museum taxidermy shop

Item consists of one stereo photograph of the Provincial Museum's taxidermy shop. John Fannin (1837-1904), the first curator of the museum, is seated at centre. Francis Kermode (1874-1946), curator and later director of the museum, is possibly seated in the back corner on the viewer's right. They are surrounded by various taxidermy specimens in progress.
