Item consists of television commercial for long term health program (with sign language insert).

The item consists of one training video of an orientation program for staff starting work at the Forensic Psychiatric Institute and Colony Farm. The role of the institute is discussed, and its wards, department and facilities are profiled. A number of staff members are introduced, and talk about the work they do and their interactions with patients. The video is a copy of a slide-tape presentation.

Item consists of 30 second television commercial created by the Ministry of Health in 1979 as part of the "Year of the child and family in B.C." program.
