The item is a one page memorandum written by W.H. McNeill of Fort Nisqually to Angus McDonald on October 6, 1842. It concerns the shipping of goods to Fort Vancouver.
Part of Fort Rupert fonds
The item consists of a volume originally kept by the Hudson's Bay Company at Fort Rupert and used to manage the cash account inventory. It lists provisions and supplies sold between October and December 1882. The volume was later used by Trader Hunt between 1903 and 1904, to record various store accounts.
Letter book : correspondence outward
The item is a bound letter book containing copies of correspondence outward from the Hudson's Bay Company Fort Simpson between 1851 and 1855. The letters are written by William Henry McNeill, Chief Trader at Fort Simpson. Most of the correspondence is addressed to James Douglas, Chief Factor or the Board of Management, Hudson's Bay Company, at Fort Victoria. There are also some letters addressed to other Hudson's Bay Company officials such as John Work.
There is a two page diary from August 21 to September 1, 1875 in the back of the book written by an unnamed woman, probably McNeill's daughter Rebecca.
The item is a bound journal kept by the employees at the Hudson's Bay Company Fort Simpson between 1851 and 1854. It contains daily entries detailing the business of the fort.
The item consists of photostat copies of pages 47-100 of James Anderson's letter book from 1851-1852. The letters are from James Anderson at Fort Simpson and are addressed to Eden Colville and Sir George Simpson and discuss affairs at the fort.

The item is a small leather bound notebook contain fur trade returns for the Columbia and New Caledonia districts, created ca. 1857. The notebook contains pages for various forts and trading posts which detail the types of furs collected for the years 1825 to 1857. Forts and posts include: Fort Colvile, Thompson River, Fort Nez Perce, Fort Langley, Fort Nisqually, Steamer Beaver, Fort McLoughlin, Fort Simpson, Fort Durham, Stikine and Fort Victoria.
