The series consists of correspondence pertaining to reciprocal agreements with other provinces respecting tuberculosis patients; statements of policy and procedure respecting various health facilities; correspondence and memos regarding accounts for various public inquiries.

The series consists of records of the Vancouver City Police Force Inquiry. Records include the Commission Secretary's minutes and list of exhibits (1955-1956); a letter to the Attorney-General's office (1955); an unsigned memorandum; the interim report (1955) and the final report (1956) by Commissioner Reginald Hibbert Tupper; and 35 volumes of evidence in transcript form and transcripts of proceedings (1955-1956). Volumes 1, 2, 4 and 5 of the transcripts of evidence were never received by the BC Archives.
