Comprises out-footage from completed BC Government Travel Bureau films: "Kootenay East, Kootenay West", and possibly "Eggs Unlimited" and "The Fraser Valley". Includes autumn scenes; boats on lake; river, highway and rail line in Fraser Canyon; horseback riding; cattle ranching; hunting; river ferry; rodeo; Clinton; Agassiz; plaques at Fort Yale, Sapperton, and Fort Alexandria sites; egg grading and chicken farming; the Great Divide; swimming; scenery; recreational activities; cable ferry docking and unloading cars (Columbia River?); mining; the "Minto" docking and unloading.

The item is a reel of film out-takes, from 1941 to 1961. Out-footage from various BC Government Travel Bureau films, including "Vancouver Island" (the 1941-1942 version); Okanagan footage from "A Date with British Columbia" (1957-1958) and "Kootenay Lake Holiday" (1960-1961). The reel includes footage of: the Kelowna Regatta (including Lady of the Lake ceremony); camping and boating on Okanagan Lake; picnic site; Kootenay Lake boating; interior and exterior shots of the beached sternwheeler "Moyie"; Manning Park Nature House; Victoria street scenes etc.
