Officers Football Team

Photograph depicts a football (soccer) team posing together in front of the goalkeeper's net. Organized sports were an important aspect of training for soldiers. The white sweaters were emblematic of those belonging to the Gymnastics Staff, responsible for the physical training and wellbeing of military troops. The photographer has labeled this photograph as the Officers' football team, and considering the badge on the officer's glengarry, it appears this team is from the 231st Battalion (Seaforth Highlanders).
