The series consists of six Barkerville Supreme Court divorce case files from 1939 to 1951.

This series consists of Cariboo Land District, lot registers, or land registers. The volumes cover lots 1-11700. The earliest entries start in 1890 and all volumes were superceded by 1951 (i.e. no further entries were made after 1951). The volumes in this series superceded the earlier volumes found in GR-2591.

The registers list lots in numerical order and record the alienation of land from the Crown (by purchase, pre-emption, lease, etc.): information may include the name of the purchaser, dates and numbers of certificates issued (including Crown Grants), dates and amounts of payments, and reference numbers to correspondence files and field books. There is an alphabetical index of names in each volume.

This series consists of five volumes of Magistrate's record books from the Quesnel Provincial Court. Volumes are an account book, 30 Jun 1864 - 26 Sep 1865; charge book 24 Aug 1896 - 30 Jul 1902; charge book and notebook, 03 Sep 1918 - 09 Jul 1920; notebook, 30 Dec 1947 - 12 Apr 1950; and notebook, 18 Jun 1950 - 10 Oct 1950.

The series consists of two cause books from the Small Debts Court in Barkerville. The first, in accession 75-G-053, was created between November 1933 and September 1940. This volume also includes proceedings under the Deserted Wives Maintenance Act. The series also includes a Sheriff's record book for the County Court of Cariboo, created between April 1895 and September 1899, listing summonses issued and served in Quesnel, 150 Mile House, Soda Creek, Richfield, Ashcroft Station and Clinton. The second Barkerville cause book, in accession 83-0774, was created between February 1941 and February 1950. It includes receipts issued by the Gold Commissioner’s office at Barkerville.

The series also consists of one ledger created solely by the County Court of Cariboo for small debts cases heard in Quesnel and Williams Lake. The cause book is arranged chronologically, but there is a loose alphabetical index included in the volume. Cases dating from 1921-1923 were heard in Williams Lake, and cases from 1925-1948 were heard in Quesnel. The spine bindings on this volume indicate that the ledger may have originally been in the possession of the the Government Agent of 150 Mile House.

The series consists of Quesnel Police Court record books created between October 1925 and October 1950.

This series consists of Cariboo Land District town lot and townsite registers. This includes subdivision lot registers for Fort George, Summit Lake, Red Pass, and a McBride townsite register with a list of reverted lots offered for sale by public auction in 1923. Earliest entries dated 1914 and all volumes were superseded by 1949 (i.e. no further entries were made after 1949).

Civil case files [up to 1924 files are marked Fort George or South Fort George].

The series consists of 1 volume of grants of letters probate created in the Supreme and County Courts at Barkerville between 1941 and 1949. Forms typically include name and residence of deceased and the name of the executor(s). Records from County and Supreme Courts are bound in the same volume.

Records in this series are arranged chronologically.

The series consists of Kamloops Supreme Court civil case files from 1868 to 1949 as well as several County Court files that appear to have become interfiled at some point of the records's history. Files before 1914 have a Clinton or Yale Registry stamp even though the hearing seems to have been in Kamloops. Records in accession G88-103 were transferred separately, and include a notice of sheriff's sale from Prince Rupert, an assortment of loose law stamps, correspondence regarding cases, and oaths of allegiance for Norman Bole of New Westminster and William Ward Spinks of Kamloops. It is unclear how some of the ephemera came to be included with these records.

Civil case files with the exception of probate, divorce and adoption files which have been removed from this series and are filed separately. The case number appears with a number followed by a year (e.g. 3/1914).

Criminal case files including Speedy Trials. The files from 1919-1923 are from the Fort George or South Fort George registry; from 1925-1949 they are marked Prince George registry.

The series consists of civil case files from the Prince George Supreme Court from 1914 to 1948. Files from 1914 up to 3/1924 are from the Fort George registry; from 4/1924 - 1948 are from the Prince George registry. Civil case files may contain the notice of claim or notice of petition, writs and affidavits, orders and a final judgment.

This series consists of Cariboo Land District assessment rolls of reverted lands for lots 1-10025, plus Quesnelle Forks and Barkerville Townships. The records date 1918-1948. The lots are listed numerically, and record tax sales and reverted lands. Information includes the name of the assessed owner at the date of forfeiture, legal description of the property, acreage, land district, assessment district, date of tax sale, date of forfeiture, assessed value at date of forfeiture, classification at date of forfeiture, taxes due at date of tax sale, annual taxes, upset price, and reserves. No name index is available.

This series consists of a variety of financial records created by the Cariboo Government Agent and its successors from 1860-1948. Records are related to locations throughout the Cariboo and Chilcotin region, including, Quesnel (Quesnelle Forks or Quesnelmouth), Lightening Creek, Barkerville and Richfield. Records include collectorate cash books, waste books, records of payments of pre-emptions, assay office expenses, a mineral tax register, liquor sale records, a Bank of British Columbia bank book, a company stock journal, a tax assessment book, handwritten notes and invoices, and a list of arms borrowed from the Government Agent at Quesnelmouth. There is also a record book documenting supplies, equipment, memoranda's, and some records from the Lightening Creek Gold Commissioner's Court.

Collectorate books record the collection of various fees by the government agent. Such as trade licences, liquor licences, marriage licences, pre-emption records, water records, mining records, fines such as “Indian fines”, deposits and rent.
