This series consists of records of the Land Inspector and Government Agent, Prince George, relating to government land reserves in Cariboo, Cassiar, Range 4 and Range 5 Land Districts. Correspondence, memoranda, plans, and reports concerning recreation, highway, B.C. Forest Service, railway, school and power line reserves.

This series contains operational records of the Prince George Forest District relating to forest administration, 1919-1981. Records are arranged according to the Forest Service filing system. These records include annual reports, ranger meeting summaries, records regarding timber exports, forest protection, forest reserves, the Peace River hydroelectric projects, the Mica Dam flood basin, land use, timber cruising, silviculture, aerial photography, rights-of-way, timber sales, timber licenses, Public Sustained Yield Units, tree farm licences, and forest wood lot licenses. Also contains construction and maintenance reports pertaining to ranger stations, lookouts, forest roads and trails, boathouses, telephone lines and other Forest Service facilities. Records consist of correspondence, memoranda, reports, licenses, permits, plans, etc.

Mineral Claims Mortgage Register, 2 vols. This register is a record of mortgages held on mineral claims, of construction and work agreements, and of various indentures relating to mines at Antler Creek, Grouse Creek, Canadian Creek, Lowhee Creek, Jack of Clubs Creek, Stevens Creek, French Creek, Beggs Gulch, Valley Creek and Mosquito Creek. Volume 2 consists of an alphabetical index.

Record book of grants of water rights pursuant to the Mining Act (1896), issued in 1897. Many grants carry notes of cancellation by the Board of Investigation, dated 1918. Includes a nominal index.

This series contains a register of grants of water rights for mining purposes in Cariboo district, arranged chronologically with a nominal index.

This series contains records relating to winter sleigh roads and bridges in the Cariboo district. It includes tenders, specifications and an 1892 report by the district road superintendent.

This series contains records relating to pre-emptions in the Cariboo, Lillooet, Lytton and Kootenay Districts recorded by various Gold Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners of Lands and Works. The records consist of correspondence, notices of claim, sketches and affidavits and pertains largely to records in the vicinities of Quesnel, Alexandria, Williams Lake, Lytton and Cache Creek. The series also includes a detailed account of town lot sales at Quesnellemouth held on 13 October 1863 as well as an application for wages due, correspondence on various land disputes, several water records, and proposed leases of government reserves.

This series contains 2 volumes of Timber Licences Indices. These registers contain information such as the name and licence number, date, fee amount, some file references and clippings of gazette notices related mostly to the Cariboo district. Volume 1 covers the period 23 July 1907 to 12 June 1908 and contains a nominal list, an index to the Departmental Map, and the notation, "to be used in conjunction with the Timber Licence Register." Volume 2 covers the period 22 October 1907 to 27 April 1908.

This series contains the operational records of the Kamloops Forest District relating to range and timber management. The records include correspondence files pertaining to improvements, pest control, public sustained-yield units, timber berths, tree farm licences, farm woodlots and timber marks. Some records were inherited from Cariboo, Vernon and Southern Interior Forest Districts, and from the Canadian Forestry Service during its administration by the Railway Belt.

This series contains the Commissioner of Grazing's file carbon copies of free grazing permits issued in the Vernon and Cariboo Grazing Districts as well as a letter transmitting grazing fees (form) from the Kamloops Grazing District. The boundaries of grazing districts coincide with those of the forest districts of the same name.

(Victoria, 1942), pp. 161-168, 311-327 for definitions and instructions - and a uniform ledger containing records concerning items on charge to personnel who have left the district. Files 1-5, Volume 1 are a property ledger for the period 1953-1955; File 6, Volume 1 through File 1, Volume 4 are a property ledger, 1961-1966; and Files 2-4, Volume 4 contain a uniform ledger, 1950-1970.

This series contains an inventory of merchantable and immature timber on Crown Land within the confines of the West Coast Transmission Co. Ltd. gas pipeline right-of-way by C.D. Schultz and Co. for Canadian Bechtel Ltd. submitted to the District Forester, Prince George.

This series contains an inventory of the mature and immature timber on Crown Land within the confines of the Trans-Mountain Oil Pipe Line Company right-of-way prepared by C.D. Schultz and Co. for Canadian Bechtel Ltd. and submitted to the District Forester, Fort George. Internal evidence suggests that there were originally at least nine more folios to this report.

This series contains correspondence between Messrs. Wm. Cochrane, H.M. Ball, W.R. Spalding, John Bowron, and Acting Postmaster General A.T. Bushby, concerning the establishment and operation of postal services between New Westminster and the Cariboo. The series also contains mail contracts drawn up between Bushby and Peter O'Toole and Stipendiary Magistrate Chartres Brew and H.R.H. Adamson.

This series contains correspondence concerning chattels seized under the enforcement provisions of the Forest Act.

This series contains correspondence, charts, plan map and report relating to the creation and staffing of the Cariboo Forest District. Types of records include a floor plan of Williams Lake headquarters, (1969), a report on the re-establishment of the Cariboo Forest District (1970), and field organization charts (1975-1979).
