This series contains records relating to the University Endowment Lands. Correspondence, memoranda, special reports, progress reports on the master survey plan and general administration of the University Endowment Lands, 1945-1958. Applications for employment, 1935-1936. The fonds consists of Tom Whitefoot's amateur films depicting military parades, Vancouver scenery, highway trips in British Columbia and the Northwest, and local events such as Vancouver's Golden and Diamond Jubilees (1936 and 1946), the 1939 Royal Visit, the British Empire and Commonweath Games (1954), and the city's first Grey Cup game (1955).
Register of Tug-boat Men's Liens under the Tug-boat Men's Lien Act (BC Statutes, 1926-1927 Ch. 73) for Vancouver. The register shows the lien number, the date of filing, "By whom claimed" and "Against whom claimed". A photocopy of the Act has been put inside the front cover of the volume.
Series consists of one record book from the University Station Police Court for 1928-1951. Entries provide name of prosecutor, name of defendant, nature of gaol or lockup, order or conviction, amount of fine, name of presiding magistrate or justice, and remarks.

The series consists of a photograph album created in 1932 by the Provincial Board of Health to document the 1932 outbreak of smallpox in Vancouver. The album contains 47 b&w photographs taken of patients at the Vancouver General Hospital. The photographs are nude shots of 17 individuals, male and female, both adult and children, who either survived or died of smallpox. Strips of paper have been pasted over the eyes and the patients have been identified by initials only in order to provide some privacy. The photographs were taken over several days and show the progress of the disease in several individuals. They are accompanied by case histories of each patient which includes the patient's initials, age, symptoms, vaccination history, history of disease in patient and whether they lived or died. The album also contains two studio portraits of three siblings who did not contract the disease because they had been vaccinated. The photographs were taken at the Vancouver General Hospital under the direction of A.K. Haywood, M.D., General Superintendent. Copies were sent to Dr. H.E. Young, Provincial Health Officer who had multiple copies of the album made up and sent to Health Officers across Canada and the United States.
The fonds consists of correspondence and accounts information, promotional materials, photographs, and ephemera relating to Allan Klenman's career as a salesman in radio. The fonds also includes sound recordings of short radio announcements, advertisements, and opening and closings of radio programs.
The fonds consists of radio programming and advertisements of CKWX Radio in Vancouver. Fonds includes recordings of political speeches, documentaries, interviews, news and variety programs.
The series consists of the records of the Commission on the Labour Dispute at Burns and Company Limited,1937 under Judge J. Charles McIntosh, which investigated the labour dispute between Burns & Company of Vancouver and its employees. The records consist of correspondence and vouchers, transcripts of the proceedings, submissions, affidavits of discharged employees, exhibits and the final report.

The fonds consists of photographs from the late 1930s to the early 1950s, taken by Duncan Macphail, a portrait and commercial photographer. Most of the photographs were taken in the Victoria area, a smaller number in other south Vancouver Island locations and in Vancouver. They cover a vast range of subjects, including: Victoria street scenes, interiors and exteriors of buildings and business operations, industrial infrastructure, portraits, community and school events, and special events such as the visit of Princess Elizabeth to Victoria in 1951. It appears that Macphail did commercial photography for the B.C. Department of Highways (possibly in the early 1960s) but it is not known if these photographs are in the fonds. In addition to Macphail's commercial and portrait photography, the fonds consists of a small number of “art” photographic prints, matted for display in exhibitions. These cover various subjects, including totem poles. One is tagged with "Exhibited - First Annual Exhibition of Photography, Canada Pacific Exhibition. Vancouver, 1938." Macphail's original indexes are in container 000358-0037.
Series consists of Coroners' inquiries conducted in Vancouver for 1938-1965. Records may also include some Vancouver inquisitions/inquests. The series carries on from GR-1323 and is continued in GR-1504 and GR-1726.
The fonds consists of the Burritt's films, which include footage of Vancouver events and places, as well as a completed documentary film called "Stanley Park" (Coast Films, 1939).

The series consists of five record books (indexed by plaintiff) for civil cases heard before Vancouver County Court Judges Harper, Ellis, Lennox, McIntosh, Shandley, Whiteside, Archibald, Boyd, Wilson, Sargent, Hanna, Sullivan, Colquhoun and McGeer. These books are similar to minute books.
Series consists of orders and judgements created between 1941 and 1947 by the Vancouver County Court. Orders are the formal expression of the ruling of the court and judgements are the final orders issued in a case.
Records are arranged by volume and folio number as assigned by the court registry. Original textual records were destroyed after microfilming; retrieve records using microfilm.
The series consists of selected Family Court case files created by the Vancouver Provincial Court and its predecessor, the Vancouver Family Court, between 1942 and 1972.
The sample files were chosen by the Court and consist of case files created under the following acts: Box 1: Children of Unmarried Parents' Act Box 2: Juvenile Delinquents Act Box 3 : Protection of Children Act Box 4: Wives and Children's Maintenance Act
Although the files are identified by name, there is no discernible arrangement or file code system for the sampled files.
The collection consists of various radio broadcasts, including music, interviews and speeches from various radio stations in B.C. It also contains kinescopes of four CBC Vancouver television productions, including three episodes of the children's program "Barney's Gang".
