The fonds consists of D.M. Sinclair's home movie footage. It includes travel footage showing places and scenery in British Columbia's southern interior, including the Okanagan, Boundary, Arrow Lakes, Slocan, Shuswap, Nicola and Big Bend regions. It also includes footage showing activities in Zeballos and vicinity during the gold rush there -- mining, community celebrations and sports, a flood, and various transport aircraft serving the area. There is also footage showing logging operations, presumably on Vancouver Island. The fonds also includes videotape copies of some of the films.

The Dominion Council of Health was established by the federal government in 1919. It provided an opportunity for discussion on a wide range of health subjects by top health officials from all of the provinces. This unit consists of the files of the Provincial Health Officer relating to the meetings of the Dominion Council of Health. The records include agendas, minutes and background papers, for some years but not every year. The meetings were held twice a year, spring and winter.

The series consists of Dominion Lands Branch timber berth administration files created by the Canadian Department of the Interior from 1896 to 1932. Timber berths were an area based system of timber tenure established by the Dominion (Federal) Government in 1872. Most of the records are on microfilm and arranged by land district and section. Records from the following land districts are included: New Westminster, Kamloops and Revelstoke.

The series also includes several paper files of similar records which were likely transferred to the custody of the Provincial government after the return of the railway belt. The records are primarily homestead inspection reports for timber berths. Other records include correspondence, applications, statistics on timber volumes and maps. The records are in no discernable order; they contain a variety of dates, names and timber berth numbers. Some of these records may be duplicated on the microfilm in this series.

The fonds comprises CBC Radio productions, mainly produced at CBC Vancouver by Don Mowatt. The programs include musical concerts, documentaries, radio plays and features. The fonds includes most of the programs from the series "The Hornby Collection", for which Mowatt was appointed Executive Producer in 1977. There are also several programs from "Testament", for which he was appointed Executive Producer in 1983. In addition, there are many examples of his work for other series, including "Heritage Theatre", "The Bush and the Salon", "Ideas", "CBC Stage", and others.

The series consists of two duplicate cash book for the Douglas collectorate, created by the Treasury between 1861 and 1866. Volume 1: January 1861 to March 1862. Volume 2: January 1862 to March 1866.

The collectorate was managed by the Stipendiary Magistrate (which also also acted as Government Agent) for the Douglas District. In 1866 the Douglas District was merged into the New Westminster District.
