The item is a Japanese version of a composite print of a travelogue film, made in 1981-1982. It shows the scenery and attractions of the West Kootenay region.

This series consists of records of the Ministry of Environment (previously the Dept. of Lands, Forests and Water Resources), Power and Special Projects Division. Records include correspondence, feasibility studies, consultants' reports, engineering studies, application hearings, submissions, progress reports, contract drawings and tender documents regarding hydro-electric projects, water licenses, flood control, petroleum refinery pollution, sewerage treatment plants, fisheries and wildlife, and environmental impact, 1949-1976.

The collection largely contains materials relating to Arrow Lakes Dam, 1949, 1954-1969; the Jordan River redevelopment project, 1968-1972; the Babine Lake development (Fulton River dam), 1967-1970; the Columbia River Mica Dam project, 1954-1970; the Duncan Lake storage development, 1971-1973; the Kootenay canal development, and the Portage Mountain development (Peace River W.A.C. Bennett Dam), 1958-1967. It also includes hearings and submissions regarding the Iona Island sewage treatment plant, 1957-1959; records of Canada - B.C. Consultative Committee on the Okanagan basin agreement, 1970; B.C. Comptroller of Water Rights hearings regarding Nechako River, 1949; various B.C. Research Council reports, 1966-1973; and International Joint Commission (U.S. and Canada) hearings, 1955.

The series consists of four volumes of indexed cause books, created in the Grand Forks registry between 1900 and 1969. A typical cause book entry lists the style of cause, solicitors' names, nature of claim, and the dates of various proceedings in each case. The entry also provides the case file number. For Supreme Court cases, cause books are often used as a starting point for research. The cause books include information on adoption, divorce, chattel mortgages, and other civil proceedings.

The records are arranged by case number and are also chronological.

This series contains certificates granted with the object of facilitating registration of title to a portion of Crown lands granted to the Nelson and Fort Sheppard Railway Company and the Kaslo and Slocan Railway Company (2 vols.), 1901-1904. It includes notices from the Deputy Minister of Lands certifying grants, 1920, 1937, 1941, and 1952.

The file contains mining engineer Charles Moore's examination and report of the Royal Flush group of mineral claims (Telegraph, Royal Flush, Anaconda and the United Verde mineral claims) in the Nelson Mining Division of the West Kootenay District of British Columbia (original and copy).

It consists of an account of the author's experiences with "S" party, C.P.R. survey, under Walter Moberly, summer 1871 to summer 1873, in vicinity of Howse and Yellowhead Passes.
