The series is a handwritten, verbatim account of the "Confederation debate," held in colonial legislature, March 1870. This file is an incomplete recording of the debate.
The fonds consists of the Harbour Navigation Company's photographs, which include one album and several loose photos and postcards. These images depict the Wigwam Inn and Belcarra Park (both on Indian Arm), and social activities at those locations, as well as the company's vessels, captains and personnel. Vessels shown include the "Fort Langley", the "Harbour Princess", the "Hollyburn" and the "Scenic". Several photos were taken by the Dominion Photo Company, and some by the Royal Canadian Air Force. The photographs were collected by Joan Hughes from the Harbour Navigation Company and former staff members.

Fonds includes mineral and forestry maps of the Hat Creek area. Fonds also includes photographs depicting scenes of the Ranch, horses, cattle, and the interior of a Vancouver brewery.
The series consists of 23 colour slides created by the Ministry of Environment in 1983. The slides show the effect of flooding in the community after Hatzic Lake flooded in 1983.

The series contains records created and collected by the Environmental Laboratory concerning health and safety in the workplace. These records document the participation of employees of the Environmental Lab in safety committees. The bulk of the records are minutes from either the Local Occupational Health and Safety Committee (comprised of employer and union representatives of the Environmental Lab) as well as of the B.C. Research Corporation Health and Safety Committee (comprised of representatives from multiple provincial government offices and in which the Environmental Lab participated). Alongside the minutes are numerous safety-related materials. These include items such as notices and newsletters from the Worker’s Compensation Board of British Columbia, notices and memos from management notifying or reminding staff of safety-related procedures, material from the University Health and Safety Committee newsletter, inspection reports, pamphlets or promotional materials from businesses offering safety-related services or products, safety manuals, and correspondence regarding potential safety hazards and protocol.
