Thie series consists of an extensive collection of stock shots, depicting a wide range of B.C. Forest Service and Ministry of Forests activities and related subjects. Compiled from footage shot for a variety of purposes, the material was retained for potential use as stock footage in BC Forest Service and Ministry of Forests film productions and TV spots. Some footage was also loaned out for TV news use.

Living memory : series 4 : Living memory in the Fraser Valley

SUMMARY: The sub-series consists of episodes from the fourth series of "Living Memory", a CBC Vancouver radio program about people and places in British Columbia history, based on oral history interviews recorded by Imbert Orchard. Four series aired from 1961 to 1964. The fourth series, broadcast from April 9 to June 25, 1964, dealt primarily with settlement of the Fraser Valley.

People in landscape : series 1 : Life in the Gulf of Georgia

The sub-series consists of episodes from the first series of "People in Landscape", a radio program about people and places in British Columbia history that aired from 1968 to 1972. It was based on oral history interviews by Imbert Orchard, who also wrote, produced and narrated the programs. The first series, which aired from October 3, 1968 to March 1969, was sub-titled "Life in the Gulf of Georgia", and dealt with life on B.C.'s lower coast and the Strait of Georgia.

Vancouver : [including] North Vancouver & West Vancouver

The sub-series consist of oral history interviews about the history of Vancouver, North Vancouver and West Vancouver from the the time of the Vancouver fire (1886) to the First World War. Secondary themes include the history of vaudeville in Vancouver (particularly the work of B.C. Hilliam) and the eccentric Vancouver journalist J. Francis Bursill.

Lower Coast : south from Port Hardy

The sub-series consists of oral history interviews dealing with the history of B.C.'s Lower Coast, including parts of the South Coast and Lower Mainland regions (and several coastal islands), from the 1890s to the 1950s, including some material up to 1968.

Fraser Valley : general

The sub-series consists of oral history interviews recorded in Fraser Valley, mainly dealing with the history of the region in general. Two interviews deal with the history of the B.C. Electric Railway in the area.

Fraser Valley : Surrey

The sub-series consists of oral history interviews dealing with the history of the Surrey area of the Fraser Valley. The time period covered is ca. 1860 to ca. 1914.

Fraser Valley : Langley

The sub-series consists of oral history interviews dealing with the history of the Langley area of the Fraser Valley, including Fort Langley, Glen Valley, Milner, and Murrayville. The time period covered is ca. 1880 to ca. 1920.
