File consists of the diary of Archibald McKinlay, the second part of two. The diary documents his travels in the role of reserve commissioner through the Okanagan region, and also contains copies of outward correspondence and expenses. A loose sheet in the back of the diary contains copies of letters written by James McKinlay and a list of plants.
The file consists of photocopied information including a biography, 1980, of Eleanor Armour Jamieson Postill, early Okanagan Valley settler and mother of Mary Barnes; and reminiscences about Elizabeth Jamieson, grandmother of Mary Barnes, entitled "The lady of New Westminster's first Presbyterian manse".
The file contains a copy of reminiscences by Annie Elizabeth Greenfield, of a motor trip made in the summer of 1927 from Vancouver to Hazelton via the Fraser Canyon and Cariboo Highway, and of the return journey made via Kamloops, the Okanagan, and Washington state.
The file contains "The Okanagan Lake in year 1900: a true life story of old pioneers", reminiscences of Eleanor (Ewing) Heal, the daughter of George Buchanan Leckie Ewing who settled at Ewings Landing.
