The sub-series consists of interviews and documentary radio programs by CFPR/CBC producer Norman Newton. Most of this material deals with the history, way of life and legends of B.C. First Nations people, particularly those of the Skeena Region.

Living memory : series 1 : [Constance Cox / Sperry Cline / Early Vancouver]

The sub-series consists of episodes from the first series of "Living Memory", a CBC Vancouver radio program about people and places in British Columbia history, based on oral history interviews recorded by Imbert Orchard. Four series aired from 1961 to 1964. The first series, broadcast from March 9 to May 29, 1961, dealt with early days in the Skeena and Bulkley region (via the recollections of Constance Cox and Sperry Cline), as well as early days in Vancouver.

Living memory : series 2 : Skeena River country

The sub-series consists of episodes from the second series of "Living Memory", a CBC Vancouver radio program about people and places in British Columbia history, based on oral history interviews recorded by Imbert Orchard. Four series aired from 1961 to 1964. The second series, broadcast from January 19 to June 29, 1962, dealt with frontier life in the area around the Skeena River and its tributaries.

People in landscape : series 4 : New Caledonia country

The sub-series consists of episodes from the fourth series of "People in Landscape", a radio program about people and places in British Columbia history that aired from 1968 to 1972. It was based on oral history interviews by Imbert Orchard, who also wrote, produced and narrated the programs. The fourth series (1971-1972), subtitled "New Caledonia Country", dealt with pioneer days in the area between Prince George and the B.C. coast.

Skeena : including Bulkley Valley, Prince Rupert, Kitimat, Nass

The sub-series consists of oral history interviews about the history of the Bulkley, Nass, and Skeena regions, as well as the Kitimat area (of the Central Coast region) and Porcher Island (in the Central Coast Islands). As a set, the interviews cover the period from pre-contact to 1972, although the focus in the settlement era prior to the First World War. The communities discussed include: Aiyansh, Aldermere, Greenville, Hazelton, Kispiox, Kitimat, Kitselas, Metlakatla, Minskinisht, Oona River, Port Essington, Prince Rupert, Telkwa, and Terrace
