The fonds consists of Harriet Jones' photographs depicting family, friends, houses, a steam shovel, scenery, and one photograph of Edmonton from the "Empire Series". Many photographs were taken at Savona and several individuals are identified on photo backs by first names or initials.

The fonds consists of the operational records of the Archives Association of British Columbia (AABC) and its predecessor bodies the Association of British Columbia Archivists (ABCA) and the British Columbia Archives Council (BCAC). The records date from 1973 to 2018 and cover all aspects of AABC business including executive minutes and correspondence, financial records, grant applications, committee files, publications, copies of the newsletter and other material. Included in the fonds are 49 3.5 inch floppy disks that date from 1990 to 1999. Some material from these disks was printed out in 2012.

The fonds consists of 271 audio tape reels, mainly containing CBC radio programs produced by Norman Newton. It includes three main types of recordings.

The first, and most numerous (T4365:0001-0200), are musical recordings of (mainly) Vancouver artists in concert, and of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (1983-1985), conducted by Kazuyoshi Akiyama, Rudolf Barshai, and various guest conductors. These performances were broadcast on such CBC programs as "Arts National", "Mostly Music", "Orgainists in Recital", "Pacific Soundscape", "Tapyak-tama", and "Two New Hours".

The second group (T4365:0201-0242) comprises radio dramas and documentaries produced by Newton between 1966 and the late 1970s. These were heard on series such as "Audience" and "CBC Stage".

The third group (T4365:0243-0271) consists of recorded material relating to the culture and music of the First Nations of the Pacific Northwest Coast. It includes unedited material recorded in May 1968 at Alert Bay, B.C., featuring interviews about the potlatch with Kwakiutl people from Alert Bay and Fort Rupert, plus a public performance of Kwakiutl songs and dances. This group also includes the 1964 radio program "Music of the Native Peoples of B.C." and some programs from 1965: "Alert Bay Indian Songs & Dances" and the six-part series "The Indian as Artist".

Fonds consists of mulitmedia records documenting Ida Halpern's professional work and private affairs of her life in Canada. The records document predominantly Halpern's study of the art and culture of First Nation's communities on the West Coast of British Columbia. In particular, Halpern's studies focus on the musical traditions and cultures of First Nations communities. Halpern's recordings include music from the Kwakwaka'wakw peoples, Nuu-chah-nulth peoples, Haida peoples, and the Coast Salish peoples. There is also a considerable amount of textual material concerning Halpern's study of her recordings and publication of her conclusions on her work. Material from her writings as a music critic and supporter of local arts comprises a smaller portion of the fonds. There are also records of Halpern's private affairs in the form of correspondence, photographs and various ephemera.

The fonds consists of records created by William Pinchbeck and William Pinchbeck Jr. between 1861 and 1936. It includes ledgers, a free miners certificate and an indenture dissolving Pinchbeck Sr.'s partnership with William Lyne in 1888. Fonds also contains two letters to Pinchbeck and Lyne from R.J. Skinner.

The fonds consists of the records of Fort St. James, and is primarily comprised of account books, inventories, journals, and correspondence. Fort St. James was the headquarters of the New Caledonia District and the collecting centre for the region's furs; as a result several of the records pertain to associated posts, such as Stuarts Lake, Babine Portage, and Bears Lake.

The fonds consists of records generated by the Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, its subordinate branches, divisions and agencies and predecessors, relating to the administration of Indian affairs in British Columbia. The fonds includes records created in the offices of the Indian Reserve Commissioner, the Indian Commissioner, and the Chief-Inspector of Indian Agencies for the Department of Indian Affairs and the Indian Affairs Branch. It also includes records of the Victoria office of the Indian Superintendent of British Columbia. Copies of records from the National Archives of Canada include microfilm copies of parts of RG 10 (central registry files and records of the Indian Reserve Commission) and photocopies of finding aids. Types of records from the office of the Indian Superintendent of British Columbia include records books, cash books, cheque books, letters of credit, statement of accounts, schedules, and requisition receipt books.

The fonds consists of minutes, correspondence and financial records of the Jordan River Athletic Association. The records document the activities of the association and its relationships with other clubs including the British Columbia Amateur Basketball Association. The fonds also includes the records of the Jordan River Badminton Club, Jordan River Social Hall, Jordan River Baseball Club, and Jordan River Lawn Tennis Club which have been intermingled with the records of the Jordan River Athletic Association.

The fonds consists of a notebook containing remarks regarding legal cases of interest to Gordon Hunter as a young lawyer. It also contains an indexed scrapbook of reported judgments.

The fonds consists of records created by Cecil Muirhead during his time as a Special Constable in the BC Provincial Police. Includes a diary and photographs and an account of an investigation into a grizzly bear attack.

The records were created between 1926 and 1989 and document the activities of Tommy and Marion Walker as they operated Tweedsmuir Lodge from 1940 to 1948, ran their big game hunting and guiding business at Cold Fish Lake from 1948 to 1968 and Tommy Walker's advocacy role in promoting the conservation of the Spatsizi area from 1956 to 1989.

The fonds consists of incoming correspondence, reminiscences, diary and research notes and drafts of F.W. Howay and Scholefield's "History of British Columbia". It also contains photographs of the Cariboo road and some photocopies of Scholefield family bible information.

The fonds consists of letterbooks regarding ownership and financing of mines, a private account book and notes on surveys as well as plans and a sketch of Golden Eagle Mine.

The fonds consists of records of the Sandon School District. Records include school trustee correspondence and copies of school inspectors' reports.

The Denman Island School District fonds consists of a register of pupils attending Denman Island School. Denman Island School District was formally established in 1877.

The fonds consists of records of the South Gabriola School District, which included the only school on the island prior to 1883. Gabriola School was established in 1872. It was renamed "South Gabriola" in 1883.

The fonds consists of minute books, 1932-1971; scrapbook of the Thermopylae Centennial, plans, exhibit list and final report of the Exhibition Committee of the club (1934) and photographs (1959-1965) depicting activities of the Thermopylae Club.

The fonds consists of records of the South Saanich School District. It also includes records created by schools in the East-South Saanich School District. The fonds includes a visitor's book (1876-1884) and attendance registers for South Saanich School (1878-1881, 1884-1886, and 1888-1897). It also includes attendance registers for East-South Saanich School (1882-1884). Some of the registers include the courses taken by the students.

The fonds consists of photographs and other records from 1908 to ca. 1995, created or collected by Jim Ryan in the course of his career as a photographer. There are approximately 105,738 photographs, mostly black and white and colour negatives, but also including prints, slides and glass slides. The fonds also includes textual records consisting of news stories, copies of Ryan's publications, a few letters and other such material. The majority of the photographs were taken in the Victoria area and include images of the harbour, the city, buildings, events and parks. There are many photographs of British Columbia politicians, notably W.A.C. Bennett, as well as distinguished visitors, federal and local politicians. There are also photographs of local characters, children and ordinary people. Although most of the photographs were taken in the Victoria area, there are occasional images taken in other areas of Vancouver Island as well as some of Ryan's travel photographs. Some of the earliest material relates to World War I and may be Ryan family photographs or items that Ryan collected out of interest.

The fonds also includes motion picture film material, including completed films, production elements, news stories shot for television, and selected reels of footage.

The fonds consists of the records of Dr. Richard Foulkes, including reports, articles, correspondence and speeches, 1960-1981. The fonds also includes copies of reports, working papers, audio recordings and his private journal relating to his work on the Health Security Program Project, 1972 - 1976.

The fonds consists of records created by Vancouver Island Coach Lines Limited between 1924 and 1976 and includes material which documents the coach line industry such as ticket sample books, brochures and time tables, photographs of buses and bus depots, a run of Clarke's handy guide to Victoria from 1924 to 1935 and a publicity scrapbook containing clippings from the 1930's. The fonds also includes ticket stubs and brochures created by Pacific Coach Lines Ltd. between 1979 and 1988 and miscellaneous brochures from associated tour operators British Columbia Parlour Car Tours Limited, Pacific Stage Lines, and Gray Line Tours, 1965-1985.

The fonds consists of the financial records of the Spring Vale Water Company and its predecessor body the Spring Ridge Water Works Company Ltd. The fonds includes minute books, a subscription book, company account journals, receipt books and a cash book.

The fonds consists of the records of the Masters and Chief Engineers Association of the British Columbia Ferries from 1970 to 1983. Records include those which document the regular business of the association such as the constitution and by-laws, minute book, membership books, account books and other financial records, and general correspondence .

The fonds consists of records created by Thomas (Tom) Fyles from 1914 to 1980 and particularly document his climbing career. The fonds includes 13 photo albums and one shoe box of negatives organized by album. The albums document climbing trips from 1913-1969. Textual records include Fyles' pocket climbing/trip diary which documents trips from 1913 through 1930s recording daily activities, costs per trip, supplies and food, photos taken. The records also include Margaret Gladstone's pocket diary of trip to Mt. Rainier in July 1921 and letters home to parents documenting 1921 trip with BCMC members (including her future husband Tom Fyles) to Selkirk Mountains. Also included are letters of condolence to Fyles' family; letter regarding naming of Mt. Fyles; photocopies of caricature sketches by climber Alec Dalgleish; 15 topographic charts by climber Neal Carter, 9 journals, offprint articles and pamphlets.

The fonds consist of the records created in the daily operation of the Occidental Hotel including financial records from 1897 to 1915; daybooks from 1904 to 1913 and registers from 1899 to 1916.
